Overdraft performance

The Overdraft Performance for Deposits dashboard provides an overview of the level of overdraft in the portfolio. Overdrafts occur when customers with deposit accounts spend more money than they have deposited. The proportion and value of overdraft is an excellent indication of the health of the portfolio. The dashboard allows the user to select from two different metrics of analysis – value of accounts and number of accounts – which provide a currency denominated value to the overdraft and the number of overdrawn accounts respectively.

These metrics can be viewed in aggregate form as well as through applying different attributes to provide a more in-depth segmentation of the data. Attributes used for segmentation include gender, product type, business type, and business size. The dashboard enables the user to view overdraft performance data in numerical, bar chart, and graphical format.
